Penn, De Niro and Pitt Walk in…

In an attempt to explain what is going on astrologically, let me say that three astrological juggernauts, have joined together in the sky this year– Pluto, Saturn and Jupiter. It’s rather unusual to have them all align and it amounts to quite a ruckus, as they each have their own effect.

Pluto is a very strong influence symbolizing major overhauls, intensity, and significant transformations. It represents an unstoppable force, or an immovable object. Further, the events of Pluto cycles can seem very harsh. Saturn is a worldly planet that relates to tradition, convention and realism. Among many things, it governs how order is maintained and how the status quo is upheld. Jupiter is an exaggerating force that tends to increase circumstances.

When Pluto and Saturn first joined together in the sky in December/January–the coronavirus started hitting the world radar. By March, when Jupiter joined the two, it became a full blown pandemic. These energies will be hanging around each other all year with things starting to break up at the end of 2020-early 2021, but with periods of development likely at the end of June and in November.

I give you the following hypothetical situation to illustrate what happens when three massive energies such as these come together in life. In this scenario, Sean Penn is Pluto, Robert De Niro is Saturn and Brad Pitt is Jupiter.

You go to a party at your friend’s house way across town and you can’t believe your eyes: Sean Penn is in attendance. Not only that–he’s in the living room talking with Robert De Niro–you’re amazed. Robert. Flipping. De Niro! How often do you see these two together and in such a personal setting–not that often!

Your friend, the hostess is wearing a new blouse. Who cares. You move into the living room to hear what’s being said. The entire party is gathered around the two celebrities–their conversation is about what’s wrong with the world and how things should be better and for the most part, they’re in agreement. Penn, however, gets a little animated and accidentally elbows a woman nearby and just before he apologizes, De Niro tells him that he ought to calm down, that he needs to be more respectful of his surroundings. Penn takes offence and the conversation suddenly gets heated.

“Who are you to tell me what to do!” Penn says, getting in De Niro’s face, his voice loud enough to quiet down the rest of the party.

“Well if you don’t have respect, someone has to tell you.” De Niro counters moving uncomfortably closer into Penn’s personal space.

Just at that moment Brad Pitt enters the party. Everyone brings out their cell phones to capture video, not only of Pitt, but of the tensions that are developing between Penn and De Niro. Penn loses his cool and starts grabbing cell phones and throwing them across the room.

“You talk to me about respect?!!” he screams at De Niro, “People don’t even have the decency to respect privacy!”

De Niro moves to put him in a headlock to keep him from punching the party-goers, but he can’t contain the younger man. Pitt, not even sure what is going on, jumps into the fray to get Penn off of DeNiro. It’s a debacle. All the furniture is overturned, people are bleeding, phones are broken, the party food is stomped underfoot. The police arrive and tell everyone to step away from each other and go back to their houses.

You go home and you stay there. The police tell you that you can’t have any parties in case the celebrities show up. In fact, no one can have anyone over until the celebrities leave town.

Back at your friend’s house Penn, De Niro and Pitt linger. They don’t help clean up the mess and it looks like they don’t feel like leaving. With no people to watch their antics your friend hopes that they will get bored sometime soon, but this was never about an audience for them. They were just discussing their own agendas for the world and that conversation looks like it might continue for some time.

Your friend is running out of food and supplies at her house. She hurries to the bulk store and when she arrives home with supplies, she realizes two things 1) she never invited these three into her home, and 2) even though she has no idea how long they’re staying, she probably didn’t need all that toilet paper she just bought.

New Beginnings

Crystal-Eves-New-SiteThis is the opening blog post for my new redesigned website.  If you’ve found your way to this post, then you’ve been on the site—I hope you like the new look!

The idea was to update the feel and function of the site and also to lay the foundation for the new products and events that I’ll be launching in 2020.  When these become available, they’ll be listed on the new “Growing with Astrology” section of the site.

This new section is for people who want to continue a journey of growth using astrology and it will also have information for those who are interested in deepening their understanding of the craft of astrology.  It’s just one of the ways I’m hoping to help people with their journey, in between consultations.

In addition to that, this site also lists my speaking engagements, in case you’d like to catch one of my lectures or presentations live, or streaming, when available.

I haven’t carried over any of the old blog posts from the old site—this is a fresh start.  At this point, I’ve been writing intermittently for about 18 years (since Sept 2002) and I’ve been seeing clients since March of 1989.  It’s nice when you have a long history, to reboot every once and a while and start with some fresh energy.  That’s what this launch represents—an injection of newness, and an announcement of my intention to be present in the world in a slightly different way, by building on my experience but releasing enough of the old to make room for new growth.

This year Pluto and Saturn joined together and Jupiter will soon pass over them both—in astro-speak this means that it’s a great time to release the old and tired  to clear the space for future plans and visions.  This is one way that I’m symbolizing this energy in my own life.

Many thanks to www.simplyeffectivewebdesign.com for their amazing work and the wonderful way they partner in order to actualize a concept!
